It was also not too busy at 5pm on a Saturday so although we pre booked there was only one other group waiting for the doors to open. The tables are nicely spaced and the staff are very helpful however they don't have the passionate, spirited Rachel from Jamie's in Milton Keynes. She exudes more enthusiasm and... knowledge about the meals than Jamie does when he's on tv and truly makes your visit. Back to Jamie's Ludgate, the staff are lovely and very helpful BUT they were as disappointed as we were that they could not offer us any pasta dishes, in an Italian Restaurant!!!! I was particularly looking forward to having the Spicy Sausage Penne for the first time. "DENIED"... Our alternative choices were lovely and tasty so we will return to the Ludgate Hill Restaurant.
